Quiet by design.

Most calculator sites treat your mortgage details as inventory. Quiet Zeros was built on the opposite bet: that a genuinely private, genuinely fast tool is worth coming back to.

The promise

Every calculator on this site runs entirely on your device. When you type in a salary, a debt, a down payment — that number lives in your browser tab and dies with it. There is no server doing the math, no database, no account, no analytics script watching keystrokes.

You don't have to take that on faith. Open your browser's developer tools, watch the network panel, and use any calculator: after the page loads, zero requests leave your machine. The site's security policy (visible in the page source) forbids the page from talking to other servers at all.

The honest business model

Quiet Zeros is free and supported by ads — we'd rather say that plainly than pretend otherwise. The rules we hold the ads to:

· At most one or two per page, always labeled "Advertisement."
· Never inside a calculator, between your inputs and your results, or disguised as content.
· Fixed spaces that never shift the page as they load.
· And the numbers you type are never used to target them.

That's the whole exchange: you see a quiet ad, the site stays free, your data stays yours.

One more revenue source, disclosed just as plainly: the accounts & cards page may use affiliate links, meaning an institution can pay us a commission if you open an account through one. Those lists are ranked by the numbers alone — an affiliate relationship never buys a better position, and every rate shows the date we checked it.

The templates are really free

Each major calculator has a downloadable Excel twin with live formulas — take them, keep them, share them. No email gate, because a spreadsheet shouldn't cost your inbox.

Accuracy

Every tool shows its formula in a "How this is calculated" section, and the Excel templates contain the same math as open formulas you can audit cell by cell. These are planning estimates, not financial advice — real quotes from lenders and banks will differ.

Roadmap

The site is built to grow: more calculators (auto lease, refinance break-even, inflation, take-home pay), more templates, always under the same rules — private, fast, quiet.
